Online dating safety tips and our commitments
Meeting someone new should be fun. Here is how HelloHere is built to protect you, and the tips we recommend every time you meet someone you met online.
Live selfies, no facial recognition
A new camera selfie at every check-in, one face only. HelloHere does not use facial recognition and does not store biometric identifiers.
Location never shared
A one-time check confirms you are in the venue. It is not stored and never shown.
Mutual consent
Chats open only after both people accept. Passes are never revealed.
Block and report
Blocking hides you from each other everywhere. Reports are reviewed by a person.
Important: background checks
HelloHere does not run criminal background screenings or identity verification on its members. Always use your own judgment and follow the safety tips below.
