How it works
How HelloHere works
HelloHere is built for when you are already out. It shows who else in the room is open to meeting someone, so saying hi stops being a guessing game.
Scan the venue QR
At a partner bar, lounge or café, scan the HelloHere code at the bar or on your table. Nothing to download: it opens in your browser.
Take a live selfie
Camera only. No camera roll, no filters. Your phone checks for one clear face before you go visible.
Be visible for 2 hours
Confirm you are actually there. Only people in the same venue who match your preferences can see you. No map, no distance.
Say hello
A chat opens only if you both accept. You can also send an alcohol-free drink, paid at the bar.
Set up in a minute
A first name, your age, what you are open to (friends, dating or both) and who you would like to meet. You must be 21 or older to use HelloHere in the United States.
Check in at the venue
Scan the venue's HelloHere QR code, take a live selfie, and confirm you are there with a one-time location check or the six-digit code shown at the bar. Your location is never stored or shown to other people.
Say hi, for real
Send a hello. If it is mutual, a private chat opens so you can find each other in the room. If not, nobody gets notified. Your visibility ends automatically after two hours.
Send a drink, alcohol-free
Pick a tier from the venue's alcohol-free menu. The other person accepts and picks their drink privately. You pay at the bar with a four-digit order code, staff confirms, and they get a one-time voucher. Sending a drink never obligates anyone to meet.
